Our mission is to educate students in excellence and integrity to lead and impact society by fulfilling their destinies.  We firmly believe that every student has a destiny and that education is a major part of realizing and fulfilling it.  Therefore Southlands maintains high academic standards.  We aim to give our students quality education by utilizing the best teachers, teaching methods, technology, and facilities that we can. As a result Southlands’ students on average score 20-25% higher on standardized tests than do both state and national students, and they get accepted into some of the most prestigious schools around the world. 

While excellence in academics is a value at Southlands, we don’t simply focus on grades and test scores.  We also believe that healthy students become healthy, vibrant adults.  For that reason we put a great emphasis on loving every student that comes to us.  Our staff works hard to make sure that every individual is cared for and that each student’s specific needs are met in order to build them into emotionally, academically,  and spiritually healthy individuals. Education has to be whole-person in order to be effective, and Southlands provides a loving environment for students to get this type of schooling.
