The staff at Southlands is qualified, skilled, and professional. Our teachers hold state teaching certificates, ACSI teaching certificates, and/or Master’s Degrees in their respective subjects.  Teacher’s have many years of instructional experience in the classroom with students from all over the world and therefore understand the needs of both local students and international students receiving American education.  In addition to holding certification and/or a Master’s Degree in their primary subject area, many of our teachers also have certification in TESOL, TEFL, or ELD. 

Beyond being professional and qualified, Southlands’ staff views education as a way to build individuals into the person they were created to be and help them reach their highest potential.  Excellent academics is critical in this process; however, it isn’t the only ingredient necessary to see individuals fulfill their destinies.  Character, morality, vibrancy, integrity, love, etc. are key components that each student needs to experience and be trained in so that they can become emotionally, academically, and spiritually healthy individuals.  Curriculum and academics are not sufficient to make this a reality; therefore, we are proud of our loving staff who deeply cares about the future of each student.
