Southlands online courses are bridging the gap between the traditional classroom and e-based education.  Our courses incorporate the best of these two learning forums into one comprehensive system that enables students to have a remarkable learning experience. While participating in Southlands’ classes, students enjoy comprehensive, interactive video delivery of course material.  These videos include instruction from teaching professionals accompanied by graphics, animations, charts & graphs, and many other visual cues that encourage audio-visual learning.  These videos can be enjoyed in a classroom setting at host schools or from your home computer as you review the material in the lesson.  Classes also include an internet based course text, e-based assessments, discussion forums, and many other web-based tools that help promote learning.  

While participating in a course, students will have a class teacher that will guide them through the course. Course teachers help to give one on one help with subject concepts, assignments, and any questions that students may have.  

All of Southlands’ courses are college prep and meet or exceed the California State Standards for high school curriculum. Upon successful completion of any of the courses, Southlands will issue credits towards obtaining a high school diploma.
